Small scale milk producers under pressure.

Djolof, Senegal - for SOS Faim

In Djolof, Senegal, the milk is one of the main income for families. A low production keeps the price high enough to give a decent life to small scale farmers and producers.

Though, the European overproduction of milk is exported to Africa. European milk can be bought at a very low price in the markets and is making a very unfair concurrency to the local producers.

SOS Faim is helping - through a local NGO - to enhance the milk transformation process to allow a better income to families and mostly women.
